- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika

- 2 cups frozen French fries
- 1 cup ranch or creamy dipping sauce for serving
- Fresh chives for garnish
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken tenders:
Season the chicken tenders with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Set aside to allow the flavors to marinate for a few minutes. - Set up the breading station:
In three separate bowls, set up your breading station:- In the first bowl, add the flour.
- In the second bowl, beat the eggs.
- In the third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
- Bread the chicken:
Take each seasoned chicken tender and dredge it in the flour, ensuring it’s evenly coated. Next, dip it into the beaten eggs, and then coat it with the breadcrumbs. Press gently to ensure the breadcrumbs stick well. - Fry the chicken:
Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or fryer over medium-high heat. Once hot, fry the chicken tenders in batches for 4-5 minutes, or until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F). Drain the chicken tenders on paper towels to remove excess oil. - Cook the fries:
Prepare the frozen French fries according to the package instructions, either by baking them in the oven or frying them for extra crispiness. - Serve:
Arrange the crispy chicken tenders and fries on a plate. Serve with your choice of dipping sauce, such as ranch or a creamy dip. Garnish with fresh chives for added flavor and color.
Notes
For leftovers, store the chicken tenders and fries separately in airtight containers. They can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days. To reheat, place the tenders in an oven or air fryer to regain their crispy texture. The chicken tenders can also be frozen for up to 1-2 months; just be sure to cool them completely before placing them in freezer bags. Reheat directly from frozen in an oven or air fryer.
